Source: Unknown newspaper - thanks to Sarah J. for sending this :) Greatly appreciated

Last Sunday at 11:30 the remains of Mrs. Daisy Camp (nee Thompson), beloved wife of Mr. Edward Camp, and the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson, of this place, were brought here from near Colfax, and taken to the south Christian church, where Rev. Rayle of the M.E. church, pronounced the last sad obsequies, taking his text from 1 Cor. 13; 12. 'For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face; now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known.' She was a true and good woman, a loving wife and affectionate mother, and leaves a kind husband, 15 months old child and many friends to mourn her loss. She died from a complicated disease, and passed away after two short years of married life at the youthful age of 18 years, 3 months, and 20 days. Interment took place in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Following were the pall bearers Misses Lizzie Harris, Anna Orme, Minnie Hubbard, Mesdames Lydia Milner, Byrd Thompson and Omedia Ohaver.

In Memory of Daisy:

Eighteen years has passed and gone since first a bud did blossom
A fragile flower, tender thing, lay upon its mother's bosom.
She grew and her beauty lent a fragrance to all around her
The poor and lowly, meekly bowed to receive her words of cheer.
But, alas, death's dark angel came at peep of day
With Ebon wings sublime, and bore the spirit of Daisy away.
But what is the will of God must be the will of his Son
But Christ will gather the chosen, and we must patiently bow, Lord, 'Thy will be done.
